A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Mat grew up surrounded by real estate.His grandfather built houses professionally and his mother sold and staged houses throughout Ottawa in her  20-year career. Most importantly, Mat understands how demanding the search for a perfect property can be, and he takes the utmost pride in seeing his clients through the finish line.

Prior to real estate, Mat had a successful career in the entertainment industry, working both as a model and actor and was fortunate to travel extensively throughout the US and Europe.

Born and raised in Barrhaven, Mat is an avid hockey player and received an NCAA Scholarship to Neumann University where he won the National Championship his freshman year.  A lifelong athlete, Mat also enjoys tennis, cycling and golf. Mat is a member of the Real Estate Council of Ontario and studied business at Neumann University, where he graduated with a 3.8 GPA, majoring in Sports Management. While at Neumann, he was president of the investment club.
